As there are in any processes these days, PLAN ON PAPER WORK BEFORE YOUR CRUISE. Because we can access on line with our booking number on this particular cruise we can make our check-in process relatively painless. IF YOU do your pre-cruise work at least three (3) days before we sail. That means my recommendation is to complete this no later than Tuesday, December 1st.
So what do I do to get started? Begin with gathering all your information before you sit down at the computer. Here are the items you will need:
- Your Cruise Booking Number (Check Your Invoice that Alex sent you or I can also help
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Ship: Carnival Paradise
- Sail Date: December 4, 2009
- Non Cruiser Emergency Contact Name & Phone Number
- Passport (Number, Issued & Expiration Date, Where you Got Your Passport)
- Specifics to your plans Before & After Cruise (Flight Info, Accommodation, Parking Plans etc)
- Credit Card that you will be using on board for your Sail & Sign Account
- Reading Glasses (if needed) Review & Accept Cruise Ticket Contract Terms & Conditions
- Approximately 15 pages, check especially clauses 1, 4 and 10-13
Now that you’ve gathered your information and perhaps a cold or hot drink to make it a comfortable task. Go to your computer and….

- My Cruise (upper right-hand side)
- Fun Pass (4 page section to fill out)
The next section you will need to access and review is under MY CRUISE>MY DOCUMENTS. Again you will need the same entry information to access the Fun Pass. Then double click on the upper left next to your name, VIEW.
Wait till it loads the information and then scroll through the pages. THESE FOLLOWING PAGES ARE YOUR E-CRUISE DOCUMENTS. PRINT THEM & BRING THEM WITH YOUR PASSPORT. At minimum you will need to print the Sail & Sign Account and Guest Cruise Ticket Contract information, read, complete, sign to present at embarkation.
THE VERY LAST PAGE WILL BE YOUR LUGGAGE TAGS. If you so choose, print this on adhesive paper and you can then cut and paste it to your luggage or it’s highly recommended that you secure it with a clear packing tape so it does not come off during the loading-boarding-tossing of your luggage. The tag indicates what portion of the ship it is and what room number it needs to go to... So you can understand the importance here, right?! Remember, luggage tag will need to be printed, one for each bag being checked-in.
There are other sections you can explore and familiarize yourself too. But understand that you will need to complete your FUN PASS prior to arrival to the cruise terminal if you would like to expedite your check-in process. My recommendation is you make the time NOW and enjoy the easy process later. I recommend that you complete this no later than Tuesday, December 1.
Once you complete the FUN PASS section than you can register as a new guest to Carnival Cruise. This allows you access other information including shore excursions, spa appointments, shop gifts & services as well as have you get begin your first or another cruise sailing with Carnival Cruise.
