CAN I BRING LIQUOR ON BOARD?

Well of course this question was asked…. and the answer is, kinda of! The Carnival Alcohol & Beverage Policy is that guest 21 years of age and older may bring one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person on board ONLY during embarkation (at the beginning of the cruise). Be advised that there is a corkage fee if you bring it to the dining room. I say drink it in your room or share it with your friends as you visit one another in your room. Guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages. All prohibited alcohol, additional quantities of wine/champagne or excessive quantities of non alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and discarded without compensation.

In other words, Carnival wants you to buy their booze at the bar. If you buy booze in Ensenada or in the Gift shop they will hold it for you till you disembark. On your daily cruise newsletter, they always have a Drink of the Day that is a special price. For purist like Roger with his Bombay Sapphire Gin Martini he’ll be checking out each of the ship's bar!

And yes, ABSOLUTELY, I am planning to bring two bottles for our room! If you have specific questions or wanna hear my experience email me and we can connect and talk.
